>>56211724I know that many hate this, but it seems to me the most credible option and not only because of the French connotations of those pokemon (Napoleon, Lady Oscar, Gallic rooster/Footix) but also because it has all the appearance of the classic TPC easter egg that when You see in retrospect it's very obvious, like the tiki in Kalos, Ryuki (A Kantonian) dressing like a British rocker in Alola, the tourist girl speaking Spanish in Galar, the greninja painting in Nemona's house.
The Indigo trailer focused on three pairs of starters, if only Snivy or another was very much in the background and mixed with a lot of Pokemon, then I would recognize that it is just a coincidence and the theory is just that, but it is too much of a coincidence that the three specific starters that have a regional forms appear focused next to two starters that have a not at all subtle French theme, I admit that Torchic sounds like an exaggeration to anyone who is unaware of the most local French culture, but the other two are exaggeratedly obvious.
