>>28754571>name other PokémonA while back I edited the species of non-starter teammates, which resulted in characters retaining their original species' names despite turning into a completely different Pokemon, which is different from when Pokemon evolve normally ingame, since they get new names after doing so. Still haven't bothered to look deeper into it, but I'd assume you should either be able to give characters names like in the past games. If not, then they probably just select from a species name bank and assign it to certain mons, which isn't as interesting.
