>>50949464Pixiv is pretty good, and I wish more artists used it, too. Same, with Twitter, since it's much harder to find art on there (not every artist tags their work, requiring you to scroll through their entire timeline). Some artists private their accounts and there's no guarantee they'll accept follow requests. Others (mainly Japanese) outright block Western accounts preemptively. So yeah, not a fan, and I'm sure there's a lot of great art hidden in the depths of Twitter that I'll never see. I recommend buhitter if you don't already use it. Makes finding Twitter art easier.
I'm open to discovering new things too, but I also know what I like and tend to stick more with that. I don't care for traps, and that's what makes finding quality Goh art hard, and don't even get me started on NSFW stuff, lol. I've only had two commissions done for me in the past, but the experience was 100% positive. Sorry you haven't had good experiences with that, but don't let that discourage you. Plenty of artists are nice, friendly people, and like with most things in life, it's how you approach the situation that sets the tone. It helps a lot if the artist shares your love for a series/character/fetish. But yeah, maybe give a drawthread a try. It's where a lot of artists got their start and honed their skills.
Ash was and still is a favorite Pokeboy of mine (just not SM Ash, lol). I've spent countless hours over the years enjoying him in art and fics. I don't see that changing.
