>>54766587In hindsight I find this image funny, it makes a seemingly good argument, but once you learn more about Christianity and what Christians actually believe, you quickly realize its a massive strawman. First of all, it attempts to hyper-impose a literal heathen's conception of goodness onto Christianity, wherein good = things I like and bad = things I don't, and when this inevitably creates contradictions (Why would God create things I don't like : ( I thought he was good?), they are presented as contradictions within Christianity rather than a contradiction between one's own beliefs and Christianity, which could be easily mended if you simply correct your own retarded child-like conception of goodness.
Second, it fails to recognize that free will is literally the ability to choose between good and evil. If there were only good then free will would be meaningless. COULD god create a world where we only choose between only Good things? Yes - but he didn't. He could've made the universe however he wanted, but made it exactly as it is. This is actually how we've come to understand the infinite wisdom of God's will to begin with, by observing the universe (literally all things in existence are a reflection of God's will) for ourselves. The more you learn about the universe, the more you come to know God. If you look out at the universe and all its wonders and think to yourself "I could do this better" for no other reason than because you don't derive perpetual heathenistic enjoyment from it, you're an actual fucking idiot. Anything you can come up with can never be better than the universe as it is since it is inherently a product of the universe as it is. You only long for pleasure because God was kind enough to create it for you, but he's not your fucking servant, it is not his will that the universe be designed around supplying you pleasure. If this makes you think God isn't loving than your conception of love is even dumber than you conception of Goodness.
