This gen has had one of the most narrow usability Powergaps. Gen 1's were all crap until recent buffs. Gen 2's are STILL crap. Gen 3 has a Starter in UBERS, one in mid-tiers and one in lower tiers, biggest disparity here. Gen IV is good in this regard, as they're all OK, not bad, not good, just ok. Gen V's were all Crap again. And Gen VI Has one in OU, One rising in UU that actually sees OU usage, and one in RU. Gamefreak always shows favoritism between starters, but it's not as noticeable here.
