So, been away from pokemon for a long time and haven't enjoyed much of X/Y until recently. Really liked Phox and its evolution line. With that in mind, after seeing the treatment Greninja was given in both the anime and the games, I feel a bit salty.
In the anime Greninja is the second coming of Narujesus, and in the games protean pushes him beyond OU. Delphox seems at best a very niche pick at OU if you run it with scarf or specs after already having dented the opposite team with EH and whatnot. She can't resist a single quake or even non stab ground moves since you have to boost her SpA and Spe to be relevant and she's outsped by 110 base speed competition if not running scarf. Calm mind feels like a waste most of the time for the same aforementioned reasons.
How do you guys like building Phox for semi-competitive, and do you venture her in OU? What would you wish/suggest to improve her in competitive?
