>>50838084>No idea what the fuck you're trying to say, this doesn't even logically follow at all. The strongest trainers are the most skilled trainers.Having superior firepower is not equivalent to having superior skills at ALL. The strength vs. skill situation is one of the most recognizable tropes in all of media. Not my fault you're too thick to understand THAT basic idea.
>You "git gud" by fighting and training constantly and adventuring and whatnot. The gyms are outright supposed to be milestones to show off your skill, you even say that yourself. Beating a gym leader doesn't magically make you stronger.Do you really think that you just magically become a pokemon master for bumming around in the fucking woods? The gym leaders and pokemon league are a streamlined system for progression, dumbass. The badges are a symbol of both how strong AND how skilled a trainer is, and the gym leaders that they challenged and beaten on an even playing field. Being a fair sport isn't bending the knee, its common decency in a professional league. You don't improve by getting an immediate merciless asswhooping from a grandmaster, you build up to each level and gradually get stronger and more skilled for it.
>You sound honestly incredibly confused and only half aware of what we're talking aboutYou sound incredibly confused about the entire point and existence of gym leaders. They're pleb filters, not iron barricades to the Pokemon League. They are what separates a quitter from a trainer that improves and gets powerful enough to contend for the spot of Pokemon Champion.
