The good thing about Gen 1 games though is if you press Spacebar the game's speed goes into the millions on modern machines.
Closing any distance in less than a fraction of a second is fun.
As for me, I somehow dislike Gen 2 more than 1. Maybe because I started to 1, I dunno.
3 is my favorite.
