Greninja became a prominent member over 100 episodes into X/Y and appeared in less than 50 episodes. I don't know how long will Journey be, but we got Riolu around 20 episodes in and we're getting Lucario in around 40 episodes. Keep in mind that Riolu has already hogged a ton of screentime while the others only have one or two battles in their name. And this is definitely going to get worse after we get Lucario. If Journeys represents the future of the Pokemon anime with all its Globetrotting antics, then it's for sure going to become The Lucario Show for hundreds of episodes. If anything Greninja returning would actually be a good thing because at least the spotlight would be balanced among 2 Pokemon instead of just one.
