My biggest complaint is probably how much you can get overleveled with sticking to the same mons
Medicham, Gorebyss, and Azumarill were in the team from very early on, and it shows, with them being in the mid 50s while my newer members were in the mid 40s, where the level curve is supposed to be.
The game would've benefited greatly by making use of PSDK's built in level cap command imo, especially because you're encouraged to fuck around and recruit mons, which leads to you being pretty overleveled pretty much the whole game.
Having limited full heals sounds kinda neat, but you never really need to use them, especially if you're recruiting a lot of shit, you have a fuckton of healing items, and other mons to use when you run out of PP. You're given more throughout the game, probably ~15 total? I had 8 or so left when I finished.
The game was fun though, and I definitely see why it was one of RelicCastle's game jam winners, even with it being incomplete. Would recommend, 7-8/10. Despite the projected 3-4 hour playtime, my first playthrough was about 6 hours, thanks recruiting autism, and there's still the other route you could choose at the beginning of the game, which seems pretty different storywise.
