What is it about defending XY that makes everyone seethe? The games are solid, and forgettable doesn't equal bad. If you're going to criticize XY, then go down on the DS games as hard, because literally every pokemon game has it's fair share of flaws, and no amount of ignoring the level curve in HGSS or saying "it doesn't matter" to the pokemon distribution in Sinnoh will change that.
