Water Types summon water from the aether, it isn't usually going to be salt water they fight with. And EVEN IF IT WAS, salt water STILL takes a longass time to rust metal, absolutely not something that's relevant or worth considering over the course of a short battle. And don't fucking @ me with Rock's weaknesses to Water and Grass, because a Water Gun ain't doing shit to quickly erode solid metal and Grass Types have the magic power to accelerate years of plant growth all at once
