4th gym leader in Veilstone after Maylene was promoted to the Elite 4. Two of these mons aren't Sinnoh mons, but if I limited myself to that then I'd just be Flint lite, carrying a team of mons I don't like. I give out the TM for Flame Burst, because powerful moves like Flamethrower (and its reskins) and Earthquakes have no right being TMs.
I'm probably much too mean with that Magmortar in the sun, but Maylene had a Lucario with Drain Punch and Metal Claw, so if she's allowed a mon that can heal itself and raise its own attack, I'm allowed a mon that's notably dangerous provided that the sun is still up. If it's still too hard, throw me to gym 5 or 6. Game plan is simple, Torkoal starts by handing out a status or two. Fletchinder deals decent damage, picking off potential threats to Magmortar, and uses Sunny Day when it's about to die. Magmortar cleans up Fletchinder's mess, but is vulnerable against faster mons or any water/rock/ground mon, provided there's no sun.
