Spinda and Staryu seldom encounter each other, but when they do, both Spinda and Staryu spin around in sync. It is unknown why they do so, but it's hypothesized that Spinda's ancestor and Staryu both used spinning as a way to communicate to each other.

Recently, a drove of Lickitungs have popped up in southern Galar due to a careless trainer releasing them in a non-native habitat. These Lickitungs have found themselves struggling in the new environment, with many of them getting their tongues stuck on Amaura's frozen bodies. Multiple efforts from Motostoke's Pokemon Preservation Foundation have helped rescue the Lickitung and move them back to their natural habitats.

Wild Chesnaught often thread over Amoonguss and Shroomish patches, which leads to them getting plenty of status ailments. Due to this, Chesnaught seek Skiploom in order to get Aromatherapy and cure themselves of the ailment. To return the favor, Chesnaught guard the Skiploom and keep them safe from common predators like Venomoth and Seviper.
