first off, where do they get off making catching pokemon the way it is? just flicking balls at the pokemon like it's one of those "get the paper ball in the trash can" flash games from the early 2000s?
second, why the fuck would you take a basic, turn-based combat system that would work completely fine in this, and replace it with some retarded "tap until the enemy dies or you die, also swipe your screen and you can dodge sometimes" garbage.
It just seems like such a fucking blunder. Did the people who made the game ever play a pokemon game in their lives? why would you take out the things everyone knows and loves about pokemon and substitute them with things that are objectively worse.
I know it's a fad right now and my post will be buried under five "i-it'll get better" replies but i'm just disappointed man. Could have so much easily been better but they fucked around with it for no reason at all.
