>>50527945>I made it up to gen3 before GF went full Judaism with making gen1 remakes instead of backwards compatibility...For one, the data structures are massively different, for another, they don't actually communicate the same way. They'd have to have written *a lot* of dedicated code solely to translate between GSC and RSE/FRLG, when they had noticeable crunch time involved.
