It's not on-topic with the thread but one of my main talking points wrt many subjects is the meaning of "luck" and "randomness", terms that basically mislead constantly and result in all sorts of nonsense, such as gambling and the longstanding random-crits argument in TF2.
Without getting into the fine details, the main attraction or selling point of the kind of "luck" used in the Battle Pike and other places in vidya basically makes little sense when taken in the context of the rest of the exercise, and the only reason why it continues to be used as-such stems from this mixup between "luck" and actual randomness. But I still love Lucy the Pike Queen anyway.
