Hello again, gentlemen. This is a continuation of James' Red Nuzlocke. I am aware I haven't updated in a while. This is because I have some... affairs to attend to; future updates may not be as frequent as expected.
Lilliput the Magikarp was tossed in the daycare while everyone (except Lavoisier) trained in Diglett's Cave to Lv. 29, the cap for Erika. When we reached Lv.29 Lilliput happened to be Lv. 19, so he was evolved and trained to Lv. 28 in Diglett's Cave, learning Water Gun and Bubble Beam from TMs. Because everyone was Lv.29 (bar Laviosier) I was a bit overleveled for Erika. I skipped Route 8's battles so I wouldn't overlevel too much; it didn't matter either way, most of my team was advantaged against the grass-type. The only problem was the Bellsprout's Wrap; only Catherine, Lilliput and Lilienthal could outspeed Bellsprout and its Wrap, and Catherine almost died near the end of Rock Tunnel after being poisoned when I had no more Super Potions; we made it to Lavender with only 10 HP.
The encounters for Rock Tunnel and Route 8 were a Machop and a Growlithe, but I didn't have any Poke Balls for the former, and the latter ran away.
Lilliput was renamed Brobdingag in Lavender Town. We took the pass to Celadon, got the TM Ice Beam, and used it to destroy Erika.
Currently, I am training Claudius, who I will evolve into a Jolteon.
