>>54698384I caught him at the start of Emerald when it released, after having missed Ralts in Sapphire but thinking Wally's Gardevoir looked cool. He was my ace for that playthrough and I loved the concept of Gardevoir when I read the dex entry.
Since then he's been my best bro, as soon as transfer has been available I've sent him over and done post-game content with him and the rest of my "main team" - other members of that team change every few months/years but he's been in it since Emerald.
He's missing some battle facility ribbons from gen 6 and earlier which I wish I'd gone for, but I'm still extremely proud of everything we've done. Since I caught him when I was around 14, and I'm 31 now, he's unironically been around for more than half of my life.
