>>51449510He's right but people are of course going to complain about this, since the games are almost pointless if you can't import your custom Pokémon from the Gameboy save files. The Stadium games on the Switch are just going to exist as a archival references if there's no connectivity. You pretty much lose out on half the games without the Gameboy compatibility. I think Jewtendo will probably port the Gens 1 and 2 games over to Switch after the 3DS shop permanently closes, but they should have announced this all at the same time rather than killing the hype like this and shooting themselves in the foot.
