The only Japanese who know of the dex cut are those who closely follow interviews or happened to be watching the American E3 Treehouse. There has been no official announcement to the Japanese (the closest things are individual interviews, most of which were for western websites or don't talk about the cut) so most of them are in the dark about the dex cut, the only ones who do know are the superfans who follow any Pokemon news.
This is why the Japanese are so mad right now, because a lot of them are only just learning about the dex cut due to the leaks.

You're forgetting there are people who have bought entire systems and preordered the double pack fully expecting the game to have all Pokemon, now that they know the game is going to be down 2/3rds of the dex because GF wasn't up front, they have every right to be angry after dropping several hundred USD. The consumers are the victim here, not the multi fucking billionaires.
