Inb4 that's exactly what Mega Chesnaught is and I look extremely silly when someone digs this post out from the archive in the future.Chesnaught's RPG class is called Fighter, a classic RPG class used in both JRPGs like Final Fantasy and tabletop games like DnD.
Some fighters may look like knights in terms of armor, sure, but fighters can be a variety of things (generally they're just adventurers). Their key feature is also the part where they can efficiently utilize a wide variety of weapons, usually just stopping at magical weaponry. They can even use bows if needed. That's why Chesnaught don't have a weapon, it has no particular fighting style.
With that said, GF should have it use its magical grass powers to grow weaponry like spears, axes, maces, swords, arrows, etc the same it can grow shields, to represent that fighters can use almost any weapon. The animations could be cool as fuck if done right.
