This always happens when a game is grossly overrated and has the most fanbase of the entire franchise. Many unovafans always brag about how "unique and special" they are and can't stop attacking other Gens (especially Gen 1 which they blame for the non-existent failure of Gen 5, going so far as to invent the "nostalfan" story). They have become a cult. They have been doing this for years now, and it's really annoying. Now unovafans are getting a taste of their own medicine, people are pointing out the flaws of Gen 5 to them, because it really is the Gen that innovates the least in the whole franchise, and that is undeniable and it annoys unovafans because their fairy tale is destroyed.
