Now admittedly, the game does get a bit easier after the Lysandre battles, and the elite 4 are just a joke, but a lot of things before that point are scary as fuck, even for the well prepared.
I know a lot of people don't like watching LP's, but for those that do, you may notice that most LPers that choose not to use exp share on their X and Y nuzlocke runs tend to FAIL. I can list at least 5 big names that usually breeze through nuzlockes that failed this shit. X and Y is the only mainline game I failed to nuzlocke on my first try too.
