After some training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, the team stands thusly. Pawful is decently strong now that it has bite, but is still too slow to outspeed wild lvl 7 Abra. Eevee somehow manages to pull its weight despite being Modest and only having physical moves. I think this speaks to how good normal type is ingame. Bayleaf and Flaffy are obviously world killers.
Staryu is mildly strong and has Watergun, Harden, and Recover, but has a hard time training with the strongest mons being water type on the old rod and the weaker route stuff spamming Bellsprout.
Concerning difficulty, I was expecting Meditite to be a weight around my ankle since it learns nothing until Force Palm at level 29, but in this hack, it gets Psycho Cut at level 22, turning it into a threat pretty soon.
Right now the plan is to beat the regular trainers in the gym and then conquor the rest of Sprout Tower before doubling back and beating the Gym Leader. I think this will maximize experience gains while minimizing big threats like the Gym Leader and rival battle.
>>21653075I'm sorry but you advertised it as some difficulty mod, but it is actually easier than the original GS. It feels like a waste of my time. I am gaining some knowledge on the virtues of careful mon placement in hacks that let you catch em all in one game though.
