Here is a pic of some of mine. Notice how I have both alt art and alternate art saved. Someone with only "alt art" saved may miss a listing for an "alternate art" umbreon for $100, because they never saw it in the "alt art" search.
Again, you really have to know what you want and what you're looking for and work from there. Never be afraid to lowball. I literally lowball at least $20 minimum every single ad I respond to because the worst they can do is say no and then you're just back where you started anyway
It could be that i'm also just in a super populated area (GTA) so there are so many cards that the market is just oversaturated and everyone wants you to buy theirs so they're more willing to bend to your terms
