Gamefreak has recently announced that they will be releasing a Pokemon Z which will include a variety of patches and added content to the latest generation of Pokemon. Not much was stated in their press release, but Ultra Evolution is going to be in the next game.
"We are proud at the amazing success that Mega Evolution has brought us. Everyone seems to really enjoy the concept and we have gotten feedback requesting for a more elaborate system. Our Ultra Evolution will add just that."
