>>44773792Nah, the narrative was fairly balanced. The whole point of the plot was Pokemon liberation & treatment, putting your relationship to them center stage. Yes, it was a bit more character driven with the Gem Leaders, Plasma, rivals, etc but it was still centered on Pokemon first.
It also made sense, as the games contemplated the question of a world separate from Pokemon, and just what role Pokemon play in the lives of people & vice-versa. Real world Poke' issues of the day few dare ask.
