>>21992507>Exp. shareNo, I never choose beginner mode in a series I'm familiar with
>set or shiftShift. If I'm playing main game I'm here to have fun first and foremost
>healing itemsRarely in battle, and if a town is close enough by probably not in the field either. I tend to horde items for the E4, and even then I'm a stingy fuck
>First hall of fame teamPic related
>Most challenging partFucking Steven. God dammit if that wasn't actually difficult. I mean like, I knew I'd win, but by the end of it only two party members were conscious. Keep that exp share off, makes things so much more fun
>how would I change the difficulty levelMake a literal difficulty level at the start of the game. Example:
Beginner Mode Roxanne:
-Geodude lvl 12
-Nosepass lvl 14
Normal Mode Roxanne:
-Geodude lvl 12 x2
-Nosepass lvl 16
Hard Mode:
-Geodude lvl 14 x3
-Nosepass lvl 17 @ leftovers
Apply that logic to the entire game and you have how I would alter the difficulty. Also your rival doesn't show up to give you free items and heal you every other route. Show up for story/characterization maybe, but no free shit
