So I just watched first 10 episodes of SM. Compared to XY it is really a big downgrade.
Art style is worse, especially with Ash's new look.

Side characters are just a background, no real interactions, unlike XY.
Battles are just dull. They lack the dynamics XY ones had.
XY was the best series. SM is even worse than BW. The only pretty good characters in this series is Mimikyu and Lana. Lillie a shit.
