Am I the only one who liked Gen 4?
I personally think Platinum is the best and most balanced game in the series. Sinnoh games were the most challenging of them all (not saying much for Pokemon, but still), and Platinum fixed all of Diamond/Pearl's problems such as slow surfing speed, lack of fire-types pre-E4. The physical/special split makes Gen 3 and before impossible to go back to.
The music was baller as fuck too, and I personally got the best 'oh shit you're on an ADVENTURE' feeling to it (on par with the Hoenn games).
