>>40063194The idea that Humans hold reverence over their own souls ultimately is false, they willingly allow themselves to be enslaved by concepts and forces greater than they are, and in fact need that sort of thing in their lives to give them a sense of structure and order. Rather than applying primal fear and exerting selfish rage on one person, I would rather use that precious Human resource and use them to serve my own interests, and line my own ranks. As per your latter concerns, this is why you treat your objects as priceless treasures, you give them better than what they can without you, you make them addicted and completely reliant on you. You guarentee their worship by treating them better than literally everything and everyone else; thus you can point fingers to others and say "That person there? They want to take away what I have given you." and they will attack to defend their lifestyle.
Ultimately, they are objects yes, but if you treat them like precious crystals, they will become a loyal and powerful armada to carry out your will.
This is greater than simply ending the life of another, for the sake of a selfish interest.
Now, if they have given themselves unto you, but worked against your interests, they were never your possessions, and like a possession should be returned in a less working state, or simply discarded. Loyalty means everything in that world friend :)
