third versions are more of a wild card because of how little changes they introduce
for yellow he created an oc character and an original plotline that has nothing to do with anything shown in the games, he doesnt include jessie and james or the mc getting every starter but he does cameo surfing pikachu at least
for crystal he just included the female mc and the suicune subplot in with the main story of the gold/silver arc
for emerald he created an oc character and an original plotline that has nothing to do with what is shown in the games (the team magma/aqua plotline was already handled in ruby/sapphire), its based solely on the battle frontier and jirachi
for platinum he just extends the plot of the diamond/pearl arc a little
i'm not sure how to classify black2/white2 and usum (sequel games? third versions?)
for black2/white2 he extends the plot of the black and white arc while introducing nate and rosa as new characters
for usum he just bakes in the ultra space plotline into the main story of the sm arc, but has the main characters change their outfits instead of introducing new characters
