>>45018689Honestly they get a pass partly because playing Pokémon without strong draw/tutor support is awful. One sided games where one or both players brick aren’t fun to watch or play. Another point is that while these cards can enable degenerate strategies the cards themselves aren’t degenerate, OP offense or control cards always draw more ire than a support card nearly every deck can use. Like you said, they’ve been a staple for such a long time it’s unlikely to change but I wouldn’t protest if they decided to make them a little more risk/reward based.
