Speaking of his 870 BST Aegislash, there's a lore reason for it. The one place to get a Honedge is the Mirage Tower in the desert. If you go there with Taka, he says that his ancestors repelled Giratina with an Aegislash, and that the Honedge you can take is probably a descendant of that same Aegislash. Taka obviously doesn't feel worthy, so he lets you take the Honedge. Meanwhile, this Aegislash is found near a Griseous orb (
>>50784250) and Taka says they ran into each other at the Mirage Tower, so it's very likely he got to meet the same Aegislash that repelled Giratina ages ago. Nice how it worked out.
