The "most successful" always begs me to ask how the official Pokemon manga are commissioned. Things like Diamond and Pearl Adventure or ReBurst were never going to outlive their respective generations. What other manga aside from Adventures and Pocket Monsters (Clefairy) were drawn up with the intention of going on forever? Electric Tale is the closest thing to a fizzle that I'm aware of.

Of course we're all arguing kids stuff here, in an ideal world Adventures would probably end up the Digimon Adventure of the rotation and we'd wonder how the manga line went to crap anyway, eh?
