I got extremely lucky with Morty spamming Hypnosis and rolling Mean Look allowing me to put his Haunter asleep and set up. I was using the speed up button so after luckily streamrollin him at my first attempt I accidentally evolved Bellsprout and had to rebattle him, it was more challenging since Dream Eater one shot the plant and Curse + Night Shade forced me to spam healing items.
I do still take the first successful attempt in account anyway.
