You'll be fine like that in RBY but in GSC for example you're going from two level 40 Xatus to three level 50 Dragonites at Lance. The power level increase is insane, fucking retarded even.
Kind of beside the point but he's my least favourite Champion in the series, he's just so boring.
They could've played the Dragon theme so much looser, there's a bunch of dragon/lizard like mons like Dunsparce, the Nidos, Kangaskhan, Lapras, Meganium, Ampharos, Rhydon, Tyranitar, even weird stuff like Lickitung. How fun would it be if he led with a Lickitung with Curse, Hyper Beam, Earthquake and Rest holding a Mint Berry. That's a challenge but not because it's three pseudo legendaries in a row.
