Only nitpick I have with the elite four was that the dark type specialist felt kind of out of place. Dark already had a specialist with the fifth gym leader, I think he was the only one with a pseudo and the only one with a mega.
Really enjoyed this game, it was easily the best Pokemon fan game I've ever played, although the bar isn't too high. The visuals were beautiful, map design was great, the puzzles and minigames were fantastic, sidequests were all very unique, and imo some of the characters were better than anything gamefreak has done (Teresa, Jeremiah, and Alba).
I did feel like the game was very front-loaded, with almost all the sidequests occuring prior to the fifth gym. The translation was pretty rough too, with pretty much all the choices and some important dialogue being untranslated near the end. I won't really fault the game for this though, the fact that it even has a translation at all is a plus. As stated before, the climax was somewhat weaker compared to the rest of the game, and it kind of feels like they were running out of steam by this point.
Faemie was a fun fight though, and stood out among the rest of the section.
I could definitely see myself coming back to this game in the future, which is something I have never said about a fan game before. Might end up playing its sequel after I finish the postgame, as it seems like it has a machine-translated english version.
