Also I'm pretty sure we can give Pokemon RS a little slack, it was originally intended as a launch title(even down to the leftover strings that reference the AGB prototype.) That said, Napoleon's right there, so don't give it too much slack, and not only that but Drill Dozer by Gamefreak also doesn't look too shabby.
Honestly it's weird, the mainline Pokemon games look like shit compared to what they're actually capable of. Even Let's Go looked decent for what it was.
