Charizard, Blastoise, Blaziken, Empoleon, Infernape... All other generations' starters are compared to their examples, they're the standard to be followed.
Closest to them, i think, were the Alolan and Galar trios, but that was mostly the demographic shift bringing new kids into the franchise. Decidueye, Inteleon and Cinderace get a shitton of fanart daily, but even then these guys still don't reach the same level as the god-tiers.
