>>37630364>Cont'd>weak to flyingSince fighting type's style consists of close quarter combats, the much swifter and manoverauble flying types have a clear upper edge over fighters, since they can't get close enough for a punch and can't defend properly from attacks coming in high speed from above.
>weak to psychic and fairyPsychic deals in, well, psychic attacks, where they can control the environment with their heads only, most not even needing to move their bodies to make a move. As such, this control has an upper edge over the close-quarter fighting types. Machamp can't hit Alakazam if the latter is using his Psy powers to levitate, teleport, and control Machamp's fist, all at the same time
As with fairies, just like psychics, deal with magical powers, with no explanation as to why and how they happen. They just happen to be little magical forces that can be sent from afar, which punches and kicks can't break. You can't punch a dazzling gleam away.
>resisted by poisonTricky. Maybe it was just made so to balance out the types. I can't think of an explanation. Maybe because poison clouds and poison itself can harm a fighting type's performance.
>uneffective against ghostSame with normal, you can't touch a cloud since it isn't solid. But why do ghosts hit fighting types but not normal? Honestly, I can't answer.
