Why do people worship Gen 2 designs so much? A perfect example of Gen 2 design are the three of the laziest pokemon ever made, Yanma, Aipom, and Misdreavus. These Pokemon can't be described as bad, they're more like unfinished, clearly needing a second evolution that was only patched up in gen 4. The pokemon introduced in Gen 2 weren't anything special as well. Even though Gen 2 is my favorite generation, it was a terrible generation in terms of design and competitiveness.
