Ever since we were little kids my buddy has always kicked my ass at Pokemon. I'd figure out what types he was using, counter them, only to find out that he switched them up to counter my new ones. I never understood how he did it.
We both just got Gen 6 (I got X, he got Y) and I want to surprise the fuck out of him with a solid team that, at the least, he has trouble taking out.
What teams do you guys use, just so maybe I can get a reference point? I just grabbed my starter, Froakie, because damn that third evolution. And of course he grabbed Fennekin.
