What people mean when they say autistic is sort of the same as when people call someone "beta". It's just another funny way of accusing someone of having poor social skills.
Lucario falls under this category because it is "le epic dog wich is ttly naruto is has le hedband and does ninja running thing xD" You can see why spergs like it - they "identify" with it (because most people with poor social skills and mild aspergers think they are 2edgy&deep like their favourite anime characters, due to being outcasts)
Also furbait; but I'd say more people like Lucario because it's a "cool" Pokémon and it makes them feel like a big adult for not liking cute Pokémon like Piplup and Pikachu.
What's annoying about Lucario is that GameFreak are WAY too proud of its power over the fanbase; Gen 6 is Lucario pandering - The Game. They know because so many idiots like it that they'll probably get a few more sales by catering to them, like they do with Genwunners.
