The game starts with the school not even having a soccer team and over time forming a team from the ground up with the bonds you make. All of the main girls have more bonding through the story and eventually you can recruit any character you like in your school or otherwise from the story even if they are random students. Chronicle mode and or the gacha roll characters (free there Is no real money) however despite the thousands of characters you can get from previous games or the anime there Is no bonding with those characters and are more so for If you really like their design, VA, or kits. The japanese voice cast goes really hard If you watch a lot of anime.
