Zubat was the first Pokemon I ever saw and to this day remains one of my favorites. I got picked on by other kids for Poison being my favorite especially since Psychic would just steam roll everything. It all changed with gen 2 when my Crobat started stacking bodies by the dozens during recces battles.
Currently poison type trainers in the game are often depicted as punks, gangsters, or mad scientists and are often associated with the games villain team. Gym leaders and Elite 4 alike fold quick to them too while other "evil" types like Ghost and Dark are treated with more respect and prestige. This twisted game needs to be reset.
