>>55634892>Exactly. So why would I use more Pokemon? To have more pokemon at your disposal? What? It's a game about training pokemon, that's like asking why you should bother to get power stars in Super Mario Galaxy
>For what purpose? To do the same thing but slower? No, to shift the focus of your playstyle from relying on raw stats to relying on efficient and well constructed strategies that you need those extra pokemon to execute on.
>There was never any nuance because using one Pokemon is objectively better in any game without exp share.I can beat Clair with 6 level 35s just as effectively as I can with 1 level 50.
>What's faster?Nothing. Pokemon isn't a racing game, but is rather what is known as a "role playing game"
>Beating Whitney with 6 lv16 shitmons slowly lowering her two Pokemon's HP over a dozen turns while I get constant status conditions or just clicking Headbutt three times with my lv30 Quilava? If you want to speedrun the game using brute force then you're free to do that, but I don't see the point in that personally. There's no incentive to beat the game faster, you don't get any tangible reward for it, whereas using more pokemon is rewarding for the increase in mechanical engagement ie you get to try out more pokemon and more moves, test out more synergies, etc etc.
You're a confusing fellow ngl
