I get that people criticize canon Pokégirls for lacking depth or characterization but two things:
1) Those people are just nitpicking to cut things down because they're shouldering their own frustrations about fans or with themselves.
and
2) The "Keep It Simple [Simon]" (KISS) rule is there for a reason. In this case you don't have to infodump a character people are just seeing. Especially if it's for a concept that probably wouldn't be explored even if there was a fangame.
