Rosa's battle subway quotes indicate that she's a very active person, battling Pokemon is a sport to her. She seems to be into a lot of activities, an athletic girl, yet isn't a tomboy; she's really into fashion. That's what I got out of her when it comes to canon.
I'm not very active, but that doesn't mean I don't like doing stuff. Rosa seems like someone who'd pull you by the arm and drag you along whenever there's anything that looks fun. The kinda girl who involves you, instead of always going out with her friends and leaving you at home.
I find Rosa's cheerful personality to be contagious.
She also seems to be the kind of person who, once she's travelled a lot and gets older, loses a lot of her impulse, and prefers to settle down nicely.
